From January 16 to Jan 18, 2018 a group of students from the University of Craiova made their first work visit to Bulgaria. The initiative is part of the activities of "A Chance for development" project, implemented by the University of Craiova in partnership with the Academy of Economics "D. A. Tsenov - Svishtov and Regional Development Foundation. On January 16, the students visited Kozloduy nuclear power plant - the major energy producer in Bulgaria, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the production work of the plant. On January 17 and 18, 2018, with the assistance of the Regional Development Foundation (Vidin) and Europe Direct Information Centre - Vidin, the students visited the branch of New Bulgarian University in Vidin, the District Information Center - Vidin and Europe Direct Information Centre -Vidin". Representative of New Bulgarian University presented the opportunities for university exchange under "Erasmus+" programme. Representatives of the two centers presented the programmes contributing to the increase of the employment rate in Bulgaria and Romania as well as EU opportunities and programmes aimed at young people in Europe.
