The University of Craiova organized an international conference on "Sustainable Development of the Danube Region", which took place on March 16, 2018 at 11:00 am. Representative of Regional Development Foundation (Vidin - Bulgaria) took part in the conference with a presentation entitled "Opportunities for realization of young people, provided by the European Union". The presentations included topics such as: opportunities for exchange and internships under the Erasmus + programme; opportunities for start-ups, provided by "Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs"; European Solidarity Corps and the volunteer initiatives, provided by the Corps; ways of applying and participating in the European Voluntary Service; the EU Job Portal (EURES), etc. Lecturers and experts from the University of Craiova presented opportunities for cultural, economic and spiritual exchange in the Danube region as a condition for its sustainable development.
